Mr. Wallace has over 20 years experience in solid waste and recycling management, transportation/logistical operations, rail program planning, business development and performance improvement. Expertise in the areas of railroad negotiations, program planning and development, strategic business planning and conducting operational performance assessments. He has extensive experience in working with both private and public sector entities in recycling and solid waste management. Wallace’s depth of project management experience includes the oversight of operations, fleet & stationary equipment maintenance, finance, human resources, business development, sales, safety and environmental compliance while maintaining responsibility for multi-million dollar publicly and privately held assets including: MRFs, transfer stations, WastebyRail intermodal facilities, regional trucking operations, bulk and containerized MSW barging operations, recycling centers, material recovery facilities, vehicle and container maintenance operations, maintenance facilities and customer service centers. Prior to WIH Resource Group, Wallace served as the Director of Transportation & Logisitics for the Western United States for Waste Management, Inc., the largest provider of solid waste management and recycling services in North America. He was responsible for managing a $100 million dollar annual budget for transportation services. His responsibilities included management oversight and activities for over 50 subcontracted motor carriers, maritime barge lines, Class One and Shortline railroads in the Western United States transporting hazardous and nonhazardous wastes and recyclable materials.

Mr. Wallace started WIH Resource Group, a waste management and logistical solutions service provider in 2005 after deaprting from Waste Management, Inc. - the largest provider of solid waste and recycling servics in North America. In his current capacity, he leads WIH and its affiliates in providing clients with customer-specific solutions in solid waste planning, logistical and transportation optimization and management as well as a host of diversified business and fiancial planning services realted to the environmental, waste management, recycling and transportation industries.

Wallace served as Regional Operations Director for Puget Sound overseeing three transportation freight hubs / terminals located in WA, OR and ID. He was responsible for eliminating the underperforming assets and improving the company's operating margins and EBIT by over 15%, a swing of over 30% on an integrated basis. Through Wallace's efforts, new transportation lanes were formed opening up business in Utah and N. CA. Wallace also led the company into the transportation of bulk solid wastes from both private and public sector clients' transfer stations and landfills and baled recyclables from Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs), two industry sectors that earned Puget Sound significant revenue and EBIT over other existing client sectors.
