John F. Howes has nearly 30 years of business management experience and practice as a Certified Public Accountant. This includes tax consulting and return preparation for high, middle and low income individuals as well as providing accounting, taxation and computer consulting services for a wide range of business entities. Mr. Howes has been the founder and principal of two CPA firms, was President/CEO for a retail chain for eleven years, and held upper management positions in internal auditing and controllership functions. Mr. Howes successfully converted a retail chain-store operation from a manual accounting system to a real-time, networked point of sale system resulting in increased operational productivity. His efforts also resulted in the acquisition and merger of two retail stores into an existing retail chain.

Licensed by the Washington State Board of Accountancy and formerly by the Florida State Board of Accountancy. Serves as treasurer for several Vancouver based entities. Former member of the Florida Institute of CPAs and American Institute of CPAs.
