This company, beginning its fourteenth season in 2007, is owned and operated by Katharine A. Lancy CTC, an industry veteran of 29 years and a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) for 23 years. Anticipating the coming travel trends away from airline ticket sales and towards touring and specialization, Mrs. Lancy selected Great Britain as her area of particular interest with emphasis on independent travel to Wales, England, Scotland and/or Ireland.

Mrs. Lancy was the first travel agent in the U.S. to graduate from both the Wales and Scotland learning programs developed by the British Tourist Authority, achieving Masters status in both. Her newest accomplishments are membership in the Ireland Shamrock Club and more recently the title of BRITAgent, the BTA's destination specialist program. She develops group tours of general or specific interest, but her special delight is in designing tours for individuals utilizing the trains and local bus transport or even just for those renting cars. For those who wish just a "touch of support" more, she's developed Mother Hen tours, referring to them as the "independent travelers escorted tour!"

With such a comprehensive set of offerings and such vast personal hands-on experience, she offers a program for you that is virtually unmatched by the competition.
