As the Legal Fellow, it is my responsibility to assist the Legal Director and Executive Director in practically any area needing legal guidance or input. I have assisted in legislative process related to civil liberties issues, community organizing and aid, counseling for those without resources upon with to rely and general review of and handling of legal related matters. As a statewide organization, we are faced with a variety of issues in most every area of life and while our focus is on protecting and upholding the civil liberties of the people, our goal is to provide assistance, when possible, to anyone with a demonstrated need.

While in Law School, I received the Outstanding Student Award in the Fall of 1998 for receiving the highest grade in the International Law class that semester. I received two scholatic scholarships, made the Dean's List and finished in the top 1/3 of my class, all while working two jobs throughout most of law school.
