| The fall TV season is upon us, and we’ve been doing a special series here on Congoo this week and last week, focusing on the new fall shows. Today it’s CBS.
When I think CBS, I think “CSI.” I just can’t help myself. I’m enamored with Gil Grissom and his co-workers. So much so, that I’ve actually started watching Horatio and his crew on the sister show, “CSI: Miami,” too! And I just can’t get enough of the fact that on any night in primetime, you can find a “CSI” episode of some kind showing, at any given time. Between those and the “Law & Order”s, I love it. But the original Las Vegas-based “CSI” is king, now isn’t it? The new hunt for DNA begins on Thursday, September 27 at 9 p.m. EST, when the team searches for Sara, who’s been kidnapped by the “miniature killer.”
So what’s up with Horatio in Miami, meanwhile? The lawman, played by fire-tressed David Caruso, is wondering if his own son is a suspect in a hostage situation, that’s what! It happens tonight, September 24, at 10 EST. (One of these days I’ll catch “CSI: N.Y.,” too – I just know it!)
Elsewhere on CBS, you’ve got more “Big Brother” and “Criminal Minds,” the controversial new reality series “Kid Nation,” and still more “Survivor,” this time in China. And I have to admit, I’m going to tune into the new “Cane,” not only because I’ll watch Jimmy Smits any day of the week, but also because I guess I’ll always be a fan of the primetime soap genre, and we haven’t had too many good pickins’ since “Dallas” and “Dynasty” of the ‘80s. Tune in with me tomorrow night at 10 EST.
