| Last Lecture Will Become Lasting Legacy |
| |
Randy Pausch is a 46-year old professor at Carnegie Mellon University who has pancreatic cancer and told that he has months to live. He was a speaker in the nationwide university "last lecture" series, and delivered what may literally be his "last lecture". Randy's hour-long lecture described his childhood dreams and what he has learned along the way.
Little did Randy know that his "last lecture" video would become a phenomenon - making its way both online, in print, and in the media - and how his words touched people to their core. According to the Wall Street Journal that reported on Randy's lecture, people who listened to his lecture have left abusive relationships, vowed to stop pitying themselves, and parent their children in a new way.
Randy's last lecture, originally intended for his children, will become a lasting legacy to the world.
